The Government Inspector at the Abbey

Nikolai Gogol's famous 19th century satire of rural Russian corruption and officialdom 'The Inspector General' is given an Irish spin by Roddy Doyle - a portrait of incompetent, embezzling and bungling politicians and bureaucrats with the language of modern Ireland? Even better, check out 'The Government Inspector', now playing in the Abbey Theatre!
